Hello ladies! Long time no see!
To be honest, just didn't feel like blogging. My mind was occupied by other things. But I made a small (read: tiny) haul this morning that I thought I'd share with you.
Garnier Pure Active Exfo-Brusher Wash
(150ml) (I paid 10TL, roughly $6)
&
Rituel de Beaute Nose Strips
(6 strips) (I paid 4TL, roughly $2)
This is a gel face cleanser that has an applicator at the end made up of soft, plastic bristles. When I first saw it, those bristles looked so sharp! I was like "no way I'm using this." But then I checked it out and the bristles are super soft! Apparently, it has 180 soft bristles on the applicator.
This is what the label says (roughly translated from Turkish):
Pure Active & Clean
-Salyclic Acid and HerbaRepair Concentrated Formula
Exfo-Brusher
-Removes dead skin cells
-Reduces oil production
-Fights acne and blemishes
-Tested on acne-prone skin
Exfo-Brusher clears dead skin cells and hard-to-reach skin irregularities (?) and reduces oil causing acne. (I'm a good translator, I swear that's what the Turkish label says. So dumb!)
What's the secret?
-Its formula enriched with natural ingredients and special brush that provides professional care fights skin imperfections and reduces blemishes.
-Natural Active HerbaRepair which is made from Vaccinius Myrtillus extracts has extraordinary skin-repair effects.
How to Use:
1. Apply to wet face.
2. Twist cap to open bottle.
3. Wet brusher, hold upside down and squeeze until product comes out.
4. Twist cap to close bottle.
5. Apply to face using circular motions.
6. Wash face and brush.
Phew! That sounds like a lot of work!
Ingredients:
Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Decyl Glucoside, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Coco-Betaine, Salyclic Acid, Capryloyl Salyclic Acid, Citric Acid, Copper PCA, Hexylene Glycol, Menthol......blah blah blah....
Anyway, it's an interesting product. I'll let you all know how well it works out after I use it for a while.
And my nose strips...
Finding good nose strips that actually work is hard. I decided to give this a shot as I've never tried this brand. Biore is by far my favorite nose strip brand.
I just tried one and it works decently well! Yay!
The Watson's one I used before this was horrible. Total waste of money, did not remove a single blackhead (ok, maybe one).
This one actually removed quite a lot! Yipee.
