Garnier Essential Care with Burdock Root Extract / Garnier Esas Bakım Bardane özü ile

Okay, so you gals know that I got this during my last haul and promised to review it. First of all, I've looked it up online and could not find the English version of the product for some reason. But I'm hoping that it's available everywhere and you'll know when you spot it. Look for Garnier Essential Care, Moisturizing Protective Cream with Burdock Root Extract for Normal and Combination Skin.

This is what it looks like- 50ml as usual. By the way, this is a day cream but doesn't have SPF. I think I paid 12TL for it, don't quite remember, that's like $6!!!

What the actual cream looks like. I would call this moisturizer as being between gel and cream consistency. I've not seen one like it actually. It's not as heavy as a cream and not as light as a gel.

It has an unexpected familiar scent to it. I want to say that it reminds me of the scent of Nivea products. When I first put it on my face, the scent was so familiar and comforting that I found myself deeply inhaling it! It's so weird, but in a good way!

I'm translating what it says on the box for you (do you see how much I love you guys?!) It says:

"Herbs which has been proven to benefit skin. Burdock extract is known for its mattifying effects. It has been especially selected to give your skin softness and moisture without making it shiny.

Is Garnier Essential Care Moisturizing Cream right for me? Yes, if your skin is normal or combination and you want a moisturizer that will soften your skin without making it oily all day.

Why is it different?

Thanks to its long lasting formula, it protects your skin's natural moisture levels. Its oil-free formula mattifies areas which are prone to be oily and shiny.

How does it work?

The formula has been fortified with burdock root extract which is known for its mattifying effects."

Some of the main ingredients: water, cyclohexasiloxane, glycerin, cetearyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, arctium lappa root extract (burdock)

My take:

I am loving this product. The only minus I can think of is that it doesn't have SPF. It feels great on my skin, I have not had any breakouts since I've started using it and the quality is really high for the price. I feel bad for paying ridiculous amounts of money for brands like Clinique. I wish I had this product before. Definitely give this a try if you acne-prone and/or oily skin and t-zone. You are going to benefit big time! I'm using it both morning and night and my skin really does feel matt, the product delivers!

I also really want to try the Garnier cream for fairness/pigmentation. I'm not sure what its called but it's supposed to even out skin tone. I've not spotted it in Turkish stores yet, although I've seen a review of it from a Pakistani blogger, so it's definitely available there. Does anyone have that? Would love to hear about it!

Merhaba hanimlar! Bildiginiz uzere, en son alisverisimde bu urunu almistim. Watson's da zannedersem 12TL civarinda bir yuz kremi ama butun buyuk supermarketlerde mevcut.

Esas urun asagidaki gibi. Cok degisik bir kivami var- ne krem, ne de gel kivaminda, ikisinin arasinda birsey oldugunu dusunuyorum. Harika kokuyor! Tam adini koyamicam ama, cok tanidik gelen bir kokusu var, sanki Nivea urunlerini andiriyor gibi.

Uzun sure etkili formulu sayesinde cildinizin dogal nem seviyesini surdurmesini saglar ve cildi etkin olarak korur. Yagsiz formulu sayesinde ozellikle yagli ve parlamaya egilimli bolgelerdi matlastirici etki yaratir.

Nasil etki eder?

Benim fikrim

Bu urunu cok begendim! Aklima gelen tek eksi tarafi icinde gunes korumasi olmamasi. Ama cildim bu urunu cok sevdi, kullanmaya basladigimdan beri hic sivilce olusmadi. Eger sivilceye megilli, yagli cildiniz yada T-bolgeniz varsa, bu urune bir sans verin. Menmun kalacaginizi dusunuyorum. 

Fiyati ucuz olmasina ragmen kalitesi cok yuksek. Hatta Clinique gibi markalara verdigim paraya uzulmeye basladim. Bu kremi hem sabah hem aksam suruyorum ve cildim cok iyi, hic yagli degil, kuru da degil. Urun gercekten de dedigini yapiyor.

Garnier'in bir de cilt tonunu acici ve duzeltici, lekeleri giderici bir kremi cikti. Tam olarak adini bilmiyorum ve henuz supermarketlerde goremedim. Ama bir Pakistanli blogcu'nun yazisini gormustum, yani oralarda mevcut oldugu kesin.
